Sliding Fee Discount Program Policy

PURPOSE

To ensure all patients have access to care regardless of ability to pay, ObGyne Birth Center for Natural Deliveries (rebranding as BirthEzy) maintains a sliding fee discount program that aligns with NHSC requirements. Discounts are based on family size and income using the most current Federal Poverty Guidelines (FPG). No one is denied essential services due to inability to pay.

Elligibility

- Patients are screened annually using proof of income and family size.
- Discounts are available to patients at or below 200% of the FPG.
- A nominal fee is charged to patients at or below 100% of the FPG.

Hardship Waivers:

Patients unable to pay the nominal fee may request a waiver. No patient will be turned away due to inability to pay.
